About Joy

Joy Hancock is a children’s author and illustrator hailing from Southern California. Her first children’s book, The Loudest Little Lion, was published with Albert Whitman & Company. Her articles and stories have also appeared in Babybug, Cricket, Child Life, and Organic Family.

She has a Master’s in English from California Polytechnic University, Pomona and teaches at Mount San Antonio College.
